The Town of Crystal Lake has always feared Jason, a legend that they all know. Nobody ever goes into those forests, except those foolish people from out of town. This was even more so brought on when the five campers, one cop and seven party kids were killed recently. The only survivor of the massacre even searched for his missing sister, asking if any had seen her. HE got the truth from one woman, stating that she was dead. Of course Clay didn’t understand at the time but certainly did when he was almost killed by Jason and watched everyone around him die. Jason has been quiet since then, hiding away and not causing problems. At least… That was until now.
You see there was a problem near the town of Crystal Lake, a forest fire. The fire was a ways away but spread rapidly, burning a good chunk of the town. However it didn’t touch the woods around Camp Crystal Lake… Oh no. In any case the entire town was long ago evacuated and nobody has returned yet. The fire passed on but firefighters are scared it could turn and come back, so the town’s people are still gone. So the town is empty or well, it was empty. That was until a bus came along, it was a bus carrying passengers out of another small town nearby called Oak Vale.
Oak Vale was also in danger from the fire and this bus was the last load of evacuees. The passengers were the stragglers, most coming from the town's main attraction, the University. Therefore most of the victims to be are students in their twenties, not the best at surviving.
They might have been safe from the fire, but they would soon meet something just as deadly. The bus’ tires burst on some barbwire on the road and crashed into a tree. The driver was killed in the crash but the passengers all survived. If being stranded in Jason’s home can be called surviving…
Oh yes, they survived to come face to face with Jason himself. And as always he is ready to kill everyone near Camp Crystal Lake. And to the very horror of Clay Miller, he’s returned to the place his life shattered. However there is one advantage this time, there is a lot more of them than Jason. This gives them time to find hiding places, make alliances and plan. Will they make it? Or turn on one another?
