Landbere, California: a beautiful city known for its high crime rate and popular National Park at its border. Many come from near and far to challenge the rapids of the park's Lunala river, as well as stay in the campgrounds if space is available. Landbere itself is a wonderful city, a new version of Las Vegas, affectionately named "The New Sin City" because of its high population and number of attractions. Many in the United States and even outside of the country have made Landbere one of their top locations to visit before they die.
Little do even the residents that have been in Landbere for generations know, something inhumane lives within their numbers. The Hollywood stories have gotten the idea of the werewolf[/i] all wrong, however; they are no way what they are by means of some sort of curse, nor a bite from a fellow wereling. The moon doesn't change them into their wolven forms, they can actually shift whenever they desire -- the moon does make it much harder for them to stay human. They've also taken on a more "professional" name: Loups-Garoux.
Two packs inhabit Landbere alone. The more powerful and quite threatening pack, the Kagetsu, are natives of Japan but have been in Landbere for a quarter of a century after travelling around the US for many years before. They're fierce warriors, descendants of the strong warriors of Japan's past, and their leader, Ryuu Watanabe, is a prime example of the strength they're known for. Though in all ways more dominate, they are finding themselves threatened by a new pack, the Aureus, headed by Seth McCoy. After a tragic incident that whiped out many of their pack's elders and other members back in their home state of Texas, they moved about the US before stumbling upon Landbere, which they found to their liking. Though tense, not much fighting has happened between the two packs -- yet.
Though most humans are completely oblivious to their existence, some know of their living among them and strive to protect others from the beasts who, besides the fact that they transform and are in packs, are just like everyone else. These hunters do not fall in an organization, but individuals use any knowledge they've gained to hunt and bring down the Loups-Garoux. They call themselves the saviors of humanity, and some even have come obsessed with their work.

What will you do?
Will you take to a wolven pelt?
Or will you take up arms and hunt the Loups-Garoux until the very end?
