PLEASE ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF
Nicknames: Sue Age: 35 D.O.B. April 17 Gender: Female Sexuality: Heterosexual Occupation: Flower-shop owner
DON'T STARE AT ME
Susannah is golden-skinned and dark haired, with large brown eyes and full lips. Her hair is black with dark brown tones, wavy, and it reaches past her shoulders. Her hair is almost always kept down, even if it does have the habit of getting caught in things or blocking her vision. Sometimes Sue will tie up her hair with whatever is on hand (which is usually a random gift ribbon or shoelace), but a lot of time she just can't be bothered.
Sue is pretty fit for her age. She enjoys jogging and light exercise, so she has a small amount of muscle on her otherwise curvy body. Her skin has a constant tan to it, even in winter, but it is especially golden in the warmer months of summer when she is, of course, out in the sun. She has no tattoos or highly distinguishing marks. The only piercings she's ever had are the simple posts in her ears, and even those she has allowed to close over at times - which is also another sign of her forgetfulness.
She rarely wears make-up or does anything that makes it look like she even cares about trying to look good. Her fashion sense is nearly nonexistent. She usually just grabs whatever she can find in her room and throws it on before heading out. The only touch of femininity she puts on is jewelry, and her jewelry tends to be very plain or flower-themed.
I WON'T SHUT UP, I KNOW THAT I SHOULD
Susannah is foremost a whimsical person. She daydreams like it's a second hobby, and this can make her oblivious to the world around her at times. She's a firm believer that things in nature have just as much importance as things in the human world, and she often says that she prefers the company of her flora in comparison to the company of people.
She tends to shy away from most people, only seeing them as customers or perhaps vague acquaintances. The thought of going out on dates and having actual relationships makes her nervous, so she generally refuses to get close to people. Sue says it's because she's too busy with her work or mothering duties to focus on her personal life, but this may just be a weak excuse to hide the fact she doesn't want to take a chance.
Though her social interactions are far from exemplary, Susannah is an intuitive shop owner, and is exceptionally good at reading people's wants when it comes to business. Her wide knowledge of plants and gardening tips, along with her skillful handling of money, makes her a dedicated and talented flower shop owner. When she works she has a confidence she normally doesn't display in other situations, because when around plants she feels completely in her element.

LIVING IN THE PAST
History:
Susannah was born to an Indian father and an American mother in a poor area of Manhattan. Her childhood was a fairly pleasant one, even if her family wasn't affluent, and she was often teased for her foreign heritage. Her mother kept a small garden in the alley next to their duplex, and Sue learned from a young age how to care for a variety of plants, including flowers and vegetables. Susannah had a natural talent for gardening, and she soon took over her mother's gardening duties entirely.
In high school she signed up for a number of agricultural classes, most of which she did quite well in. She decided that no matter what she did with her life, she wanted to work with plants. At first she thought about becoming an agriculture teacher, but after watching her parents deal with all the troubles that teaching entailed she changed her mind. It was only in her last year of high school that she knew she wanted to own her very own florist shop, and she began planning how to do that immediately.
It was also in her last year in high school that she began to date George McBride. He was smart, funny, and seemed dedicated to their relationship. Sue, who had rarely dated before, and whose relationships never lasted very long, fell head over heels for George. A couple months after graduation, on their eighth month anniversary, George proposed. Susannah was so shocked, and overwhelmed that someone would ask, she said yes. The two were wed not long after, much to the worries of Susannah's parents.
Sue became pregnant within her first year of marriage, and she thought her life couldn't get any better. She had a part time job in a large flower shop in town, George had just been hired by a car repair agency not far from their apartment, and she was expecting her first child, the child of a man she thought was perfect.
Her daughter was born in summer, when the whole world seemed green and in bloom. Susannah had never felt so wonderful or content, and she would probably never feel that kind of grand elation again. George was filled with fatherly pride over his new daughter, a beautiful young girl with golden hair and greenish-blue eyes. His daughter looked almost like an exact duplicate of his own features, a fact that had, at first, brought Susannah as much joy as it had brought George. Later, though, her daughter's features would only serve to haunt her.
In the ninth year of their marriage, Susannah discovered an awful secret: George had been conducting an affair with another woman for five years straight, and had probably had other affairs even before that. Sue was heartbroken over learning this secret, but it took her a while to confront her husband on the matter. She finally got up the guts to go to him two months after learning of the affair, and she stated that she wasn't going to deal with his lies any longer. Susannah filed for divorce from her husband that year, and George moved out of their apartment to live with his mistress.
The next few years were hard for Sue. She had never been so alone before. Her daughter wasn't much for company, as the girl was already becoming independent and stubborn, and she resented her parents for the terrible divorce. Susannah began to grow weary of the big city, and the idea of moving appealed to her more as the months went by.
Her daughter was the one who cemented the idea of moving in Susannah's mind. The woman one day received a call from the girl's math teacher that Marigold was suspected of cheating on a test. Sue went to the school to discuss the matter with the teacher, and it turned out that it wasn't only the math teacher who believed the girl responsible for cheating. Sue was crushed to learn her daughter had done something so dishonest. She told the story of her daughter's exploits to her mother, and asked for the woman's advice. The retired teacher told her of a school in New Jersey that might help to "straighten Marigold out".
Susannah and her daughter (protesting all the way) moved to Coleridge Cove, NJ. Sue enrolled Marigold in the local reform school her mother had told her about, and then the woman made plans to open her own business. In the next year, Susannah had opened her flower shop and it slowly began to gain business. The woman, who couldn't exactly be called happy, was satisfied with the life she had managed to make for herself, and she had no further plans of changing it.

WELL I AM WHAT I AM WHAT I AM

"Huh. What makes a person evil, do you think?," Fredi asked with her forefinger resting on her chin, her expression one of deep thought. She looked like a woman from a painting, so perfectly in pose. And yet she walked and spoke in too natural a way to be a painting or statue. "I should rephrase that. What classifies someone as evil? Is it always so black and white? Or are those people labeled as evil really just like anyone else?" She looked back at him and then laughed in embarrassment. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm asking you all these philosophical questions when we're just having a pleasant stroll. I hope you don't find me too strange."
The art student's eyes moved away from the draconian teacher to take in Vincent. What would he seriously do to this old witch? Fredi wondered if she would be grateful if he, say, beat the old lady up. She might be more freaked out, actually. But then again she might laugh. Fredrika's eyes widened and her brows shot up in surprise at his reply to the woman's accusation. Wait - what? He wants to give me a distraction? Fredi's face turned a bright shade of pink at that but of news. She looked back at the old woman to see how she was holding up after this revelation.
The old woman's mouth was open in shock and anger, and Fredrika could see that she had been about to say something nasty in response to Vincent's words. However, when Vincent placed his arm over Fredi's shoulder and pointedly flashed his gun, the old woman's mouth shut and her eyes widened even more than Fredi's eyes were widened at that moment. Fredrika gave a sidelong glance to Vincent, who was so close to her that she could feel his warmth. She was still blushing bright pink, and her big brown eyes were even bigger than normal. Her mouth formed a perfect 'O' when she realized what was happening, and she looked back at the old woman with a smile.
"Are...are you threatening me, young man?," the old lady managed to squeak out. She was finally looking more than a little intimidated, and Fredi could have cheered. Then again, her teacher was an unpredictable woman, so who knew what might happen? Fredrika crossed her fingers behind her back and wished with all her might that the teacher would just piss off.
