DOWN WITH SICKNESS
THERE WAS A TIME...
Werewolves have been probably the most well known legends since the beginning of man kind. Every culture in the world had something about them in their history, their myths. Once every so often the myth changes or splits, turns into something else, but most often it stays just that, a Myth.
BUT TIME MOVES ON
While Hitler was on the verge of destroying everything, the United States had been in the lab trying to make ultimate, indestructible, fighting machine. Using the DNA from those who were willing to test their product they tried mutating it, what they got was something more. Something that was hard to control and not indestructible, but not like anything that the world had seen before. Those who were tested soon became something that was running loose around the cities of Europe, killing everything in their path. Somehow, during their trials, something had gone wrong. The mutation hadn't been strictly human, there had been something else slipped into the mix, something with teeth.
THINGS CHANGE, FOR BETTER OR WORSE
At double the size, nearly ten times the strength, and the ability to change at any time these things easily avoided their former masters and vanished. It's known they live alone or in a pack, move from one city to the next. It's as if they don't age, and they spent time learning about themselves and found a few things. Being half man, half wolf is impossible, a complete and painful change is necessary to do their dirty work, and there are only two ways to be a 'werewolf'. Being bitten which is a horribly painful process, and being born one, which is a little like winning the lottery as your parents both have to bare the gene. But even then there is a certain higherarchy, the first few, the originals; they are the best, then the born. Of course, at the bottom of the ladder the infected, those that have been bitten.
LIFE KEEPS DISHING OUT
The Department of Werewolf Control was founded in the late 1960's due to the out of control population of dangerous 'werewolves'. There are those who believe that every single one of creatures now wandering almost every country on the planet should be put down. Those who have been chosen are now agents in this department. The government has approved the operation as a green light for every single state in the United States. Those who are willing to polish off this infestation are welcomed to join up with the D.W.C. OF course, what are the controllers without their populace to control?
WELCOME TO VEGAS
In a town with millions of tourists each year and new faces every day there's no telling who or what you might meet. While the public doesn't know it, this is the single most 'werewolf' populated city in the world. Wolves come from far and wide and join up with packs that exist, or make their own. They all come to the Promised Land in search of anything and everything. Some come for the night or the week; others stay for years, set up shop, and make sure to sink their teeth into something. After all, they say what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
