So I swing and I sway. Wave my hand, kick my leg, And it is always right with the music.
She actually did smile a little bit at that. "I can see why that's fun." She said, not in a sarcastic way. She'd always enjoyed seeing people make fools of themselves...especially people who she knew, weather they were her friends or not. Of course, she didn't like making a fool of herself...so she tried to avoid it at all costs. She didn't much like the idea of someone who also liked seeing people make fools of themselves watching her make a fool of herself...
It wasn't that she didn't care about anything, she just didn't like to show that she cared. Her goal in life was to make people think she was inhuman, and that she couldn't feel, even though it was so far from the truth it was sometimes scary. In truth she kind of wanted someone to see through her little act...but they never really did, and he just kept on pretending not to care about anything, or anyone, really. It had worked out well for her for as long as she could remember, and she didn't intend on changing her way of life any time soon.
She got in his car, for the second time that day, and shut the door, trying not to make a loud noise, but of course she did. Car doors always made such horrible noises...oh, how she hated it. She buckled up the second her door was shut this time, just in case he decided he wanted to break some more rules... "Math sucks in general." She said, looking out the window again, in case something interesting decided to appear there...or maybe just because it seemed the best place to look. It's not like there were very many other options.

He knew she would enjoy the game once he pointed out his own reason for liking it, if he could find some people who were worth setting up like that he would love to get the game started up at this school. "Yep, seeing drunk guys getting shot down, slapped, and in one case groped by a transvestite was a real amusing way to spend any night of the week." That last one had been pretty funny, his friend Peter had been playing the game and tried a bad line on a pre opp transvestite which had led to him making out with him/her in a secluded corner of the club until he had felt... well needless to say the who world soon found out about the incident when it was posted online.
Without a thought about anyone else who might be in the parking lot or on the roads Joseph began to speed back toward the school, the stereo playing one of his favorite songs by The Who.
No one knows what it's like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man
Behind blue eyes
No one knows what it's like
To be hated
To be fated
To telling only lies
He wasn't sure why he liked that song so much but it was one of his all time favorites, a little bit of retro which contrasted what most people listened to these days.
"Its not that it sucks." He mused as he drive with prenatural skill toward the school, swerving around cars with ease only gained from years of practice. "I just find it to be an annoying and dead subject, one lacking any beauty." While it might not seem evident Joseph greatly enjoyed arts, from painting to writing.

She laughed a little bit at that. "That poor drunk guy." She said, shaking her head a little bit. "Did he know that it was a transvestite, or was he seriously that drunk not to know the difference?" She had to admit, though, some transvestite's were really good at what they did. Although she could usually tell the different...mostly because of the body shape, though. Guys tended to have thicker legs than girls, at least in her opinion.
As the music came on she found her opinion of Joe hightened a little bit. Even if he did have his faults at least he had good taste in music. Behind Blue Eyes was an epic song, no matter who you are. It was definitely her favorite song by The Who, and had been since forever. "Nice." She said, appreciatively. "First Nine Inch Nails, now The Who? I think I may love you." She was obviously joking about, or at least exadgerating a bit.
Lacking Beauty? That almost made her laugh. He definitely did not strike her as the type to even care about what subjects were lacking beauty. "Oh really? What are some good examples of beautiful subjects?" She was smiling a little bit...she found herself smiling quite a lot, it was kind of odd. She didn't know the last time she'd smiled that much...if ever.

He had figured that would get a laugh from her, he really enjoyed the sound of her laughter, maybe because it sounded like she didn't do it all that often, almost like it was some kind of privilege or something that he would have to earn. "He didn't know it was a transvestite." He said with a small chuckle. "He was a really convincing woman, no sign of Adams apple and even the hands were feminine." Normally Joseph could tell the difference between a girl or a guy dressed up as a girl or any thing in between.
He chuckled a little bit at her confession of love for him which he figured was probably just a joke, but then again it was him so he wouldn't be to shocked about that. He didn't love her, at least not yet but it was possible, she was attractive and pretty cool and without any doubt could be taught to be more like him with his love of causing trouble and breaking any rule that existed just for the hell of it.
She was questioning that some subjects possessed more intrinsic beauty then others? "I would say that literature are more beautiful then just numbers, there is Hemingway. Or in some schools where Music is a subject... and music is more beautiful then math." Or the same thing according to some teachers who could never explain that very well.

"Very impressive." She agreed. "Must be one of those guys who are born with natural feminine beauty." She'd met a few guys like that...the ones with the long eyelashes, and big eyes, and full lips. Most of them claimed straight, but she knew they were all just secretly in the closet. No guy can be that beautiful and not like other guys...she considered it humanly impossible. Every man-ish looking girl she'd met had confessed to be a lesbian...but maybe that's just because girls try to look feminine unless they just aren't feminine.
She was glad that he seemed to get that it was a joke...well, either that or he was laughing at her for saying that. But she prefered to think that he knew she was just joking.
"...forgive me for saying so, but you don't exactly strike me as a fan of literature. Then again, what do I know?" This guy was definitely full of surprises, she'd give him that much. He looked more like the kind of guy that sat at home and watched some kind of sporting event than the kind who instead sat at home and read books...but looks can be deceiving. Everyone knows that.

"Looked great in a mini skirt." Joseph joked, he didn't want to admit it but until he had found out the truth he had been rather attracted to what he had thought was a rather beautiful woman in her twenties. He had figured that Peter would get shot down in a rather comical way and then he could move in and do a much better job then his friend. Of course any disappointment he had felt when it had looked like his friend had gotten a girl who was interested in him was alleviated when they all found out the truth. And to just be a dick he had made sure it all ended up online, if there had been a video it would have been all over youtube.
He laughed a little bit more at it but figured he should at lease let her know that he wasn't laughing at her, there was being a dick then there was just unessecary stupidity that wasn't amusing. "I could see why you have fallen for my Cherry." He teased. "I mean I am one magnificent specimen of the male form." That part was true, he knew he was amazing.
"It is rare that I take the time to enjoy a book but every once in a while everyone needs to take a break." Joseph pointed out, he could tell she was surprised by the fact that he enjoyed books, it had started with Science Fiction when he was young and as he grew older his reading expanded.
Now back at the school Joseph pulled up in front of the dorm room to let Cherry out. "Hey, if we are going to schedule the piercing I am gonna need either your phone or room number."

She couldn't help but smile at his comment about how good the transvestite looked in a mini skirt. She had a suspicion that most men secretly thought transvestite's were attractive, so she actually took him seriously as he said that. Plus, for all she knew, he could be bisexual. She hadn't actually asked, and she didn't plan on it, as it was none of her business.
She rolled her eyes a little bit, but shew as glad that he was teasing her. That obviously meant he knew that she was joking. "You're so conceited." She said, shaking her head a little bit. "You're really not that magnificent." She smirked a little bit, hoping that might hurt his ego a little bit, but highly doubting it. She knew from experience it was hard to make someone with high ego feel bad about themselves.
It was times like these that she wished for little phone cards that she could give out to people, with her number on them. It would be so much easier than writing it down, or saying it out loud a million times in a row for the person to program it into their phone. She reached into her bag, and pulled out a pen, then rummaged around for something to write on, before finding an old receipt to some fast food restaurant, or other. She then scribbled her number down on it, hoping he could read her slightly messy hand writing and passed it to him. "There, phone number. I'd give you my room number, but I don't want you to stalk me." She smirked a little bit, and moved her hand towards the handle of the car's door.

Joseph was wondering what was going through her head when she smiled, although the knowledge of what it was would have probably freaked him out to no end. He didn't discriminate against anyone but he wasn't into guys, it wasn't his fault that the tranny had the kinda ass that most guys would love to just grab a hold of.
More of the eye rolling that she seemed to have made into an art form. "Oh I really am magnificent, wait until I get my shirt off and you will know exactly what I am talking about." His tone made it sound like he was just joking once more but there was some honesty to it. More hours then he had ever bothered to count had been put into working on his body, he could have gone the full roid monkey route but instead kept a more natural shape, just working to perfect that shape.
"If you think I can't find your room without any real effort then you must be mad." Joseph said with a nasty smile as he took the number from her, glancing at it quickly before folding it into a pocket. "I mean I am sure that there is a student directory that I could pay some nerd to crack into... but if you don't want a stalker I will make sure you never see me when I stand outside your door."

Cherry smirked a little bit. "I'll be the judge of that." She replied, and although she was joking as well she was kind of curious to see what was under his shirt that was so magnificent...she would just have to wait, though, as she would obviously get to see when they did the piercing...which she was still excited for, even if she wasn't going to show it. It wasn't every day that you get to stick a needle though a guys nipple...actually, she highly doubted half the guys she knew would even let her go near them with a needle...pansies.
"Well, that's very kind of you." She opened the door, and climbed out. "See you later, then." She threw over her shoulder, as she shut the door and walked off, and just like that she was gone. She found she was already anxious for when he called.

"Something tells me you don't want to miss that." Joe said, completely serious about that, hell she would probably just go for it because she was looking forward to sticking a sharp little piece of metal through a sensitive part of his body. Hell maybe she was some kind of sadist who got off on causing pain... he had dated girls like that before and wasn't getting that vibe from Cherry, but she was a bit hard to read about that one. Normally he could figure out a girls kinks after spending a decent amount of time with them but he was drawing a blank on her, made her a bit more intruiging.
"I will call you!" He called before the door shut, taking a few moments to enjoy the view of her walking away before he drove off to park the car, he really needed to get to class, normally wouldn't care but he would like this one.
(going to be going to bed soon, I can make another thread tomorrow if you like or if you would rather make one you can... or can do the phone call thing in the right area tomorrow if you want to wait)
